• EY is preparing to decide in favor of separating its audit and consulting businesses. The firm’s global executive committee met on Monday to discuss the deal, and a decision to proceed with the split is expected this week. The move is intended to free the advisory business from conflicts of interest that restrict it from winning work with EY’s audit clients.
